These are used sails. They have misc. small repairs, stains, and some may require additional minor repairs.

The rating system is as follows:

10 brand new sail, Nationals worthy.
9 barely used sail, Nationals worthy.
8 still stiff and crinkly, but not as stiff as 9 or 10. 7 stiffness and crinkl-iness about 25% gone.
6 stiffness and crinkl-iness about 50% gone
5 stiffness and crinkl-iness about 75% gone.
4 no stiff, no longer crinkly, but not limp.
3 limp.
2 limp and needs repairs.
1 good as drop cloth.

Mid 70s Oday Rhodes 19 (totaled/repairable) FOR SALE or will PART OUT.
Thought I would repair it, but at 75 years old it is too much of a job…and I would not use it if I repaired it. The major parts are the tapered mast, standing rigging, centerboard with/without trunk , Kick-up rudder asssmbly, tiller, new centerboard reel, new stainless outboard bracket, mahoany cockpit trim sanded and ready for varnish. Neil Pryde sails (fair/poor). Price for above $900.
Hull at no cost. Ihad a price of $800 to repair the hull fiberglass…no coatings..no ribs..
I have an old but serviceable trailer, new bearings never wet. Will sell that for 400.00. Will lend that to buyer of parts for a month at no cost.

Original O’Day tapered mast with jumpers mounted, floorboards and rigging.

I have added center traveler, new boom, spin pole, and min weight rudder, and a lot of Harken.

Boat is complete and race ready with 2 suits of sails, all standing and running rigging in working order, and 25 # of lead as per last weigh-in.

Bottom is epoxy coated, w/o anitfouling. Keel needs work. Sails need replacing.

Ugly but fully functional trailer with 2 recent tires.

Entertaining offers this fall to avoid storing.

I do embroidery and have the Rhodes 19 logo digitized for stitching on shirts and also do pennants.

FOR SALE RHODES 19/O’DAY SAIL # 2324

Excellent racing condition!  Rhodes 19 East Coast Championship First place – 2007, 5th place Chicago Nationals – 2004.

Closed cell foam ribs and flotation tanks.   Hull faired and painted with VC performance expoxy.  Keel re-installed and balanced.  Center seem glassed from stem to stern.  Hull is solid.

Recessed spin blocks, 2 point center lifting straps, barney post, stern traveler.  Easy to sail and handle to focus on the racing!

(2) sets of sails (main/jib), (1) spinnaker.
