Designed over 50 years ago by Philip Rhodes, the Rhodes 19 is an exciting, one-design sailboat that offers both great family day sailing and competitive racing. The Rhodes 19 Class Association has been actively supporting Rhodes 19 sailors, events, and regattas for over 30 years.
The Class Association publishes several times a year for all members, the class newsletter, the Mainsheet. In addition, the Class hosts this website, which provides Rhodes 19 information, a message board, and the opportunity for centerboard and keel Rhodes 19 sailors to post their requests on our site (For Sale, Seeking Crew, etc.).
Joining the Rhodes 19 Class Association is a good value because the Class Association promotes Rhodes 19 ownership, which enhances the value of all Rhodes 19 boats. The Class Association has two levels of membership. An owner or part owner of a Rhodes 19 may become an Active Member eligible to participate in class sanctioned regattas, hold office and vote. A non-owner of a Rhodes 19 may become an Associate Member and participate in class events but may not hold office or vote. Membership is free of charge for new members in either category for the first year.
There are two ways to join the Rhodes 19 Class Association. Your local fleet may collect local and national dues and forward the fleet membership information to the Class Treasurer. Alternatively, if your fleet does not submit a fleet membership or you are unaffiliated with a local fleet use the link below
